DigitalX Gains Approval for Bitcoin ETF Listing on ASX

Australia’s DigitalX announced on Tuesday that it has received approval to list its spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Trading under the ticker BTXX, the ETF will begin trading on Friday, according to a press statement.

K2 Asset Management will serve as the issuer of the ETF, while digital asset manager 3iQ will handle its promotion and distribution both domestically and internationally.

“Our offering will enable Australians to invest in Bitcoin without having to manage digital wallets, in a cost-effective and secure manner,” said DigitalX Chief Executive Officer Lisa Wade.
