Lido: Validator powered by Launchnodes has experienced 20 cuts

Lido posted on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that as part of the Lido protocol, the validators operated by Launchnodes node operators have been slashed 20 times. Launchnodes and DAO contributors are investigating. Validators are offline and scaling has stopped while the root cause is investigated. Users of the protocol will not be affected, aside from daily reward reductions that will be reflected in tomorrow’s rebase.

Lido stated that the current preliminary expected impact is approximately 20 ETH (approximately 2.25% of the average daily protocol reward or 0.00023% of the TVL). Further investigations are ongoing and additional updates, including a full post-mortem, will be provided.
