EOS Surges Over 10% in Biggest Daily Gain Since Early May

EOS surged 10.72% on Monday, reaching $0.7984 by 22:20 ET (02:20 GMT), marking its largest single-day percentage increase since May 7. This upward move boosted EOS’s market capitalization to $1.225 billion, representing 0.04% of the overall cryptocurrency market cap. However, this remains far below its peak market cap of $17.53 billion.

Over the past 24 hours, EOS traded within a range of $0.7561 to $0.7984, while over the past week, its price remained largely stagnant, rising just 0.62%. Trading volume in the last day reached $103.38 million, accounting for 0.10% of total crypto market volume. The seven-day price range spanned $0.7137 to $0.8217.

Despite Monday’s gains, EOS’s current price remains 96.53% below its all-time high of $22.98, set on April 29, 2018.

In broader cryptocurrency markets, Bitcoin climbed 1.55% to $109,598.30, with a market cap of $2.18 trillion, capturing 63.38% of total crypto market value. Ethereum also advanced 2.05%, trading at $2,559.71 and holding a market cap of $309 billion, or 8.98% of the market.
